SMILE GYPSY DIARIES

"She would be half a planet away, floating in a turquoise sea, dancing by moonlight to flamenco guitar.”

Windows down cruising to the sound of Lana Del Rey blaring. As the salty air of the atlantic ocean and the gulf of mexico hits you in the face all at the same time. We think, yes please! Welcome on a gypsy tropical road trip through the florida keys with Smile Advocates Teal and Courteney.

For spring break they decided it would be best to explore south, the girls packed their bags, filled the tank and hopped on the turnpike. Heading straight south they explored the island of Key West. Palm trees galore with skies so blue right out of a watercolor painting. It definitely was the tropical escape they were looking for.

Key West is the best place to people watch. You can see countless smiles while you're down there. From families across the world, to the locals chatting about their weekly fishing stories. The tropical vibes give you this invincible energy. Its hard to not smile with coconut drinks for sale, a constant breeze, endless dance parties, and tourists that are so red you can actually feel the heat radiating off of them.

The other great adventure the girls took is the seven mile bridge expedition. Heading towards pigeon key, a gorgeous walk of 2.2 miles, was a sight for the eyes. You wanna talk about 50 shades of blue? This was the place to put that to shame. Every 5 minutes they were wishing they were right there with the pelicans, basking on the surface with their feet in the water. A moment you can definitely be jealous of.

The water does something to you while you're down there. A cleanse - salt therapy is what we like to call it and we can’t get enough. The colors put you in this trance that you wouldn’t mind being in for countless hours. A sense of cool, calm, and collected. The effects of the color turquoise have a lot of positive benefits such as:

Clarity of Thought: It enhances the ability to focus and concentrate, assisting with clear thinking and decision-making, and the development of good organizational skills.

Calming: It is calming yet invigorating, restoring depleted energies.

Why wouldn’t you want to visit there. Take a look at what we mean with some photos from the girls gypsy trip. This time it was the Florida Keys, next time who knows where. We won’t stop exploring thats for sure.
